My Counter-Currents article about /pol/ has been totally scrubbed from Google
Hi /pol/.
I rarely come here but I thought you guys might get a kick out of this.
So back in 2017, the day of Charlottesville, someone posted on /pol/ that the Heather Heyer car attack was an op. Nothing special so far. But then the guy goes a step further and predicts the location of the next major event: Henderson Nevada.
As we know the next major event was the Las Vegas shooting. However, Henderson is only a 20 minutes outside Las Vegas and Stephen Paddock was FROM Henderson. Freaky!
So after the Las Vegas shooting, that screenshot and a couple other /pol/ post making predictions of an eerily similar mass casualty event in Las Vegas started making the rounds on Facebook.
Then everyone forgot about them.
Fast forward to August 2021. I'm trying to think of ideas for things to write about. I see the anniversary of Charlottesville is coming up. I remember those screen shots.
I think "Fuck it. I'll write about those freakishly accurate screenshots predicting the Las Vegas shooting. It's content"
Here's the article I banged out:
https://counter-currents.com/2021/08/revisiting-the-charlottesville-las-vegas-conspiracy-theory/
By the standards of CC, the article did fairly well but not super viral. It got posted around a few WN message board. Then everyone forgot about it..
Fast forward to yesterday, someone on Twitter mentions it's the anniversary of Charlottesville. I think "Hey, now would be a good time to repost that article about those weird Charlottesville 4chan posts."
I go to Google and search "'Travis LeBlanc' 'Las Vegas' Charlottesville". Doesn't come up. I play around with the search terms and still nothing.
I search "'Travis LeBlanc' 'Las Vegas' Charlottesville" on Yahoo and Bing and my article is first result. It comes 3rd on DuckDuckGo.
But it has been COMPLETELY scrubbed from Google. Not even searching the exact title will bring it up.
SOMEONE doesn't want you to read my article.
