A black woman patented the ballpoint pen in 1870. She invented it decades earlier but as a slave, she wasn't allowed to apply for a patent. After the Civil War, she was able to manufacture her invention.
You're not going to disagree with the claim that a black woman invented the ballpoint pen, are you?

daily reminder that you want to use gel ink pens when filling out checks or other important documents since the gel ink is more resistant to chemical washing than a ball point pen is. Yes, gel pens use a roller ball too, but they are called gel pens and not ball point pens. I recommend the Uniball Signo 207 or the Pentel Energel series.

I don't know what year it was invented but naziboos say that it was long after The Diary was first published, which happened in 1947. How could somebody provide a ballpoint pen manuscript for publication in 1947 if ballpoint pens didn't exist yet.

Only small excerpts of the "diary" were released beforehand.
There is no evidence the "diary" is anything more than "Karen made fun of my dress at school today" because tje group that is in possession of it wont let it be examined. Except when it was ordered by the court. And now that organization is attempting to rewrite the courts findings.
