It depends on the black mold in question, if you have TOXIC black mod then you are fucked, but Canada is cooler and mostly we have the non-toxic black mold, that can cause sneezing. Get some dehumidfier, run some fans, clean your walls with vinegar with drops of essential oils on it. Alcohol works well against mold but it's also harsh on your eyes and lungs, it's best to pour and wipe with alcohol rather than spray.

Mold exist in nature, plenty of other toxins too.
