I had to learn this the hard way, my whole childhood I was taught to be nice and passive, and throughout school couldn't figure out why most girls got bored of me pretty fast. Luckily my looks were enough to attract enough girls here and there for some of them to give me a few pointers. I once had a girl literally tell me to just hit her whenever she's being annoying, even outside of a sexual context. Obviously she was a bit on the extreme side, but I've started to realize that you need to be somewhat firm and paternal even with the nicest women to keep their respect.

I’m turning 39 soon and have not dated in a decade. Sometimes I look back at what the fuck I’ve done in my 30s and all I can remember was working, working and working some more. Even though it was boring and sometimes soul crushing but at least I have enough wealth saved up that I can easily pay off the mortgage should shit hit the fan and go do something else I enjoy.
Funny enough I used to think I was gonna marry and have kids. But nowadays I just want peace and quiet. I really can’t see myself in a wedding photo anymore.
I no longer want to travel and see the world or do extravagant things. Just want a simple life and think about God and be thankful for everything he’s given me.
Cherish what you have, young men. Because none of that relationship and marriage shit are worth the hassle.
