Unemployment is at 24%
Another thread reminding everyone that the job market is absolutely fucked. I am on month 2 of unemployment. Funds run out in December and I have only had 1 interview since I've been applying.
How is everyone else doing so far? Might live in a box by the end of the year.

When it strikes 30% and stays there for a year, it's a signal that a revolution is imminent.

Go to asian market get 50lb bag of rice. Fresh veggies are pretty cheap there too. Steal canned meat from grocery stores. I learned how to make lots of curries too when poor. Make big pot of curry for the week

I think US employment rate is around 65%. Nordics are about 75%. You lazy fucks.

"Unemployment" is a mess with ten meme definitions, that change over time.
It should be 100% - employment%. Perhaps show it separately for men and women.
Employment rate is around 60% down from a 65% peak at the turn of the millenium, and male employment rate is only 65% now compared to 85% mid 20th century. It isn't like women are having children now so no excuse not to work either.
40% of adult Americans (post education and not counting retirees) plain don't work. That doesn't even take into account all of the make believe jobs and bloated public sector.

how high are your standards?
i went from homeless to making $23ish/hr. taxes take about a third, but it’s enough to get by and still put something back for savings.
