Indeed. I don't spend as much time on either of these as I should but at least I'm doing them every day. The world has a real hold on us unfortunately. And I really believe that demonic influence in our daily lives is much stronger than we'd like to imagine. Psalm 22 (23 in the western tradition) apparently helps a lot.

I think both are right somewhat, like some beings who stick out their head while keeping their body rooted on the soil, parasites and spiritual demons could be tied somewhat. I've personally noticed through the years that when any good or bad tought that seems to come from an external source and not organically from within yourself always come in the presence of bugs, when a sudden inspiration comes there is always a small bug in the pc screen, running through my arms, or in the wall right next to my head. Ever since covid I take a dose of ivermectin every couple of months. I also have a diet high in pineapple and coconut, both of which supposedly have antiparasitic properties.
