If you ignore roiders, strong and men who work to preserve their youth alike die both old and young for various reasons. A lot of it really does come down to genetics, diet, and sometimes dumb luck.
In a way, it's a choice between living as a strong looking person with the capabilities to match or working to preserve your youth to look like you want and live the longest possible life. I see benefits and drawbacks to both and it's perfectly possible to fail at either one in any case.

It's only bad if you do it obsessively(because that's feminine). Knew a dude who ran 10+ miles/day. He literally had a budget built in for new running shoes and ended up fucking up his knees due to running while dehydrated.

You can be skinny but still fat and weak inside. Everyone has to do resistance and cardio excercise. Hunter-gatherers and even farmers used to get all their exercise for free, modern man must struggle.

Overwork and underwork are stressful for the body. A person who works out too much destroy their body or worse cardiac arrrest. Workouts temper the body by controling factors and developing the body in a closed environment. The use of muscle memory makes it so the body remembers your actions and is ready for real world application or moving on instinct. Running helps improve the bloodflow and makes the muscles have more endurance as well as lowers the resting heart rate. Strength training makes the body capable of lifting in a way that benefits. Human who lift heavy can lift themselves and the body can be stronger for longer and degrade slower. Overall men workout for the reasons of self defense and survival.
Now of course it's not perfect. Some people are genetically not built for exercise and damage their bodies in the process. You see many athletes peak out in high school due to injury. Genetics play some role in the process.

tl;dr

Rewind history to the point before the industrial revolution or the invention of steel. What were people doing daily just to survive? That is what you should be doing to optimize health, exercise wise. They did a shit ton of physical labor, but they also ate a vastly different diet. As long as you make sure to keep yourself clean and purify your water, you're golden. Do as your ancestors did, that's what you evolved doing and adapting to.

Also, listening to any "Internet famous" talking head is a great way to fuck up your life. Jews run everything when it comes to visibility of content. Remember who runs things, and question why they are pushing this. In this case it's because they fear the strong, they are weak.

of course it's unnatural: it's an ersatz substitute for natural exertion—hunting, chopping firewood, fetching water, warring, and so on

as to whether it's bad for you, well don't be so black-and-white about it; there's not just one thing called "exercise", is there?
it depends on the individual, what they're doing, where, when, why, for how long, on what sustenance, etc.
going for a little swim once a week—is that exercise? is it bad for you?
what about doing a few sit-ups or curls in the morning?
what about just carrying something heavy as part of a chore—is that exercise? should we avoid as stressful?

the entire way you're framing the question is... frankly, too retarded to be answerable
if you're not overly concerned about the stress and badness of it, I can think of one muscle in particular that I would urge you to exercise more frequently

Staying fit is important, the whole point of exercising is to stay like that and be able to do daily things without a problem. Otherwise, bodybuilding for the sake of getting big doesn't make any sense, but working out as a way to do a specific job is totally fine. It all depends of what is the purpose of it.

Athletes who peak in high school are usually natural, the ones who keep going are either not competing or taking roids. The problem with exercise is that most people do too much of it without proper recovery time. I blame the roid users for normalizing high rep high intensity when that's clearly not the way to go for naturals.
Anonymous (ID: JUAmTW9c) United States No.513038079
Sport and sport training is natural and good.

Non-sport specific exercise is not unnatural or bad but basically can only be understood as a sport, which always comes with drawbacks.

There’s a difference between sport, training, exercise, and activity. What’s really called for is a lifestyle of sport, activity, perhaps training, and then lastly, exercise.

humans are one of the best endurance hunters on the planet. Canines are good too but they overheat more easily. No other animal on the planet is as good as humans at endurance hunting in warm weather. Exercise is also needed for your lymphatic system, the pump for your lymph system is your physical movement. Exercise also helps balance your hormones.

Exercise does help with fat loss, but not so much as just eating less. You have to eat like an elegant skinny girl to get skinny. And the best exercise is walking. Everyone can walk. You just need 10,000 steps per day and you're good.

The best exercise is pretty much swimming. Tons of people can't walk. Joints don't last.

10k steps was a lie-- new research indicates you get the health benefits of not being sedentary with even less, like 3k steps. The most important thing in life is to not be totally sedentary

lymph nodes will drain from walking alone, same with hormones i think the OPs point is about regular high stress resistance training....no animal in nature would continously lift things up and down to make it look more muscular, we are naturally what we need to be from the start (yes some people are genetic freaks but in a natural world we would prob kill them and eat them)

Problem is we have so many nature and historical buildings laws that you can't build bug gives everywhere and you can walk everywhere 10km in a random direct and you will find some city or town.

Eat the right food and then those problems will not happen.
But you will die faster. Humans like many other animals have around 1 billion heartbeats until the heart dies.
It's programmed in your body and when running you have a high heart rate so you're killing yourself slowly and take lifetime away from you.
We're endurance people and back then one hunting tactic was running after a fleeing animal until they could not anymore and simply died from exhausting.

It is more rational to conclude based on assumptions that you need a simple up to your limits schedule that keeps things within bounds and only very slightly pushes the limit a bit further, like for instance doing 11 pullups instead of 10 after about 10 orso times you have trained

I find the idea logical that stress as a force will degrade you in every way: be it on the internet, work, socialising with people who make you feel confronted and stressed, etc.
Prolonged exposure will definetely lead to loss of youth, lower energy and probably lesser life span.

However doing no exercise on the opposite end becomes horrible based on how bad it is like just sitting and moving little.

It is like the world is caught in between two opposing forces of laziness and perpetual stress from work.

With exercise you can continue to motivate your body increase bloodflow and psychologically develop yourself to become more productive which combats lethargy and depression but not always but it does remove the feeling of meaningless existence.
Additionally you create confidence and self worth based on your physical progress wjhich gives a feeling of trust and reassurance.

So as a conclusion you need to find limits with yourself and see what suits best for you so you have something challenging you must climb and to overcome to create a sense of psychological value but also enough to not overwork yourself into potentially physically harming yourself or as the presupposition states shorter life span.
