Life’s easier for Normal fags as they get special treatment. For example my niece was too busy on her phone that she didn’t realise the road she was driving along in the countryside had a bend so she drove through some farmers hedge and rolled her car across a field. When she told cops what she did they said she’d get banned if they filed that so they let her off told her they would write a false report saying it wasn’t her fault, and told her to lie to her car insurance, and told her what to say so that it would match the lie they were going to put in the police report.
Me however the cops wouldn’t let me park my car outside my own house. They said they’d tow it if I kept parking it there. They told me I had to park it on a street on the council estate (projects) even though I didn’t live in that suburb. They wanted me to park in a specific spot which is outside of the house where a heroin addict lived that was the most prolific criminal in the county.
When I started parking it on my drive they complained that one tire had gone on my lawn and they threatened that i I kept doing that they’d arrest me for criminal damage.
They once stopped me for going around a roundabout twice. Threatened to confiscate and crushed my car if they ever saw me do it again.

As someone that goes on vacation and have coworkers assume I’m rich (despite having the same job as them). Save your money for things you want to do. I don’t blow my money on video games, booze, or other frivolous stuff like that. Save your money for a vacation. Also get a travel rewards card. That’s a big one. Currently I use my credit card (that I pay off monthly before accruing interest) for 90% of my purchases. Honestly that covers about half of the trips I take.

My parents acted like this in the 1990s. Spent way too much living extravagantly, going on vacations, buying new cars, but they were just in debt and living functionally paycheck to paycheck despite having a combined income over $150k in the 90s. Dad lost his job and it was the apocalypse. It definitely scarred me mentally as a kid, because we went from living large to barely scraping buy on one income for a while. They never went back to that lifestyle, because they realized it was unsustainable and how not fun it is to be in financial precarity.

It's very easy to live above your means in your 20s and 30s and get into a lot of debt traps while appearing to have a perfect life. It can catch up to you fast though. Think of it like being on a treadmill and increasing the speed until you're at a full bore sprint. You can do it, but one misstep and you fall spectacularly.

In the old days farmers had a lot of fields, forests to chop, livestock and maybe a workshop that were worth more the house they lived in.

During boomer days it was possible to have a nice house with just the salary but this was a short exception in written history.

So what you see now are either people who inherited their apartment and more real estate to rent. In such case they can spend most of income on flexing. If you pay rent or mortgage you have to live very modestly and if you don't save you won't be able to upkeep your home with pension.

The biggest part is just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Easy example is a black man who was seen near a white woman getting raped at the time he was walking by.
