The issue isn't really about pigs. But about IQ.
The people who don't eat pigs mostly do so because their bloodthirsty barbaric god forbade them to do so. It's haram. It's not kosher. Whatever. Bad juju. Bad kharma. Some other nonsense.
Now this obviously didn't originate from their dark and backwards god, which is fictional. It originated in their history as a way of teaching poor people not to eat things that would kill them. Probably a rule that originated 2000 odd years ago.
But they still follow it today.
Now 2000 years ago eating a pig may very well have been dangerous enough for these rules to be required. That's not in dispuite. But obviously these issues have been solved by now.
By intelligent peoples. With industry, and science, and insight, and intellect.
Which if the various subhumans had in great quantities amongst their population would have precluded the rules for the religious dogma anyway.

The answer has to do with the resource scarcity of the desert Semitic peoples as opposed to the peoples who lived in the pleasant green Europe.

The pig is the only major domestic animal that has no use other than its meat. Therefore, if you’re short on resources, it makes sense to focus on other animals which can be milked (literally and metaphorically) rather than pigs.

For the Europeans who lived among the fertile fields, hills and forests, this was less of a concern and so pigs were a rational choice of livestock alongside their herds of cattle, sheep and poultry.
