Russia wasn't defeated in some war, it gave these territories independence, which declared neutrality and some of which had over a dozen of millions of Russians
so how about these countries get back to conditions under which they were granted independence?

there was no invasion, they simply disarmed and secured Ukrainian bases in Crimea in order to conduct a referendum safely
and the catalyst for such reaction was the Western-sponsored coup that kicked out a "pro-Russian" president for the second time in 10 years, breaking the constitution twice
as the next thing the Western puppet regime would do is kick out Russia from Crimean and replace those ships with NATO's
as for the short Georgia war, EU's own report a year later blamed Georgia for starting the war, while the current Georgian government itself blames the Georgian president
in fact, Georgia and Ukraine share similar scenarios, Georgia just looked like a test and the scale is much smaller:
1. Colorful revolution installs a Western puppet in 2003.
2. Western puppet gets told to take the breakaway region by force, which hosts Russian peacekeepers, an attack on which is an attack on Russia.
3. Russia reacts, but doesn't go all the way.
