Why? They're an autonomous district that voted in another political party that wasn't the CCP. They're still part of the PRC. I don't get what the issue is to begin with unless China wants to revoke their autonomous status. The narrative that they're independent is ridiculous when the problem is that political discourse in China is collapsing.

US air superiority doctrine is based off of beating Saddam's illiterate army. The best air defense the US air force has ever flown against was in Iraq, and that was inbred Arabs operating Vietnam era soviet AA systems like S-75.

S-75 was designed in the 1950's.

Vietnam also operated S-75 and shot down 10,000 American aircraft. Serbia also shot down an F-117 stealth planes with S-75. Iraqi's were so retarded they didn't even understand how the AA system works and would hastily turn off the radar immediately after launching, rendering the missiles unguided.

If you think the lessons from Iraq apply to fighting a peer adversary with massive amounts of modern AA systems, with satellite ISR, AWACS, a modern air force with AA missiles that significantly outrange US AIM-120 AMRAAMs, congratulations. You're as retarded as US military top brass.

I seriously would think about it... for one top of the line GPU and CPU per year for each American citizen.
