Yeah I remember. I was finally getting out of my schizo phase and this stuff sent me plummeting right back into it. I thought this really was the end of the world.

The situation certainly showed the contrarian nature of /pol/, and the dim-wittedness of the general public:

October 2019:

If you read between the lines, it also shows how /pol/ is used by various entities to influence the "divergent individual"'s opinion. Who leaked the Chinese footage here at first? Chinese glowies? Western glowies? Maybe it was entirely organic (I doubt it)? Was that footage even real or was it staged? The red deer shit is also probably some kind of psyop, just like sign tapping and JD Vance Photoshop spam. Nothing feels organic anymore. Maybe it never was.
