I was considering 5 months. I'm already in a routine. I got the gym 3 times a week. My issue is depression and comfort eating. Basically I get very little dopamine and so cling to what food provides, and it's basically an addiction at that point.
Whilst chemically removing it for a bit doesn't absolve the underlying issues that lead to addiction, getting time away and realizing how bad it was now you're not on it any more is pretty useful and it's important to learn that for long term weight loss.

Sure, in an ideal world. But, it's been 10 years of being depressed over this shit, and at a point you just gotta take any solution even if it's not wholistic and is "Cheating".
I already got to the gym 3 times a week, the problem really is my snacking and overeating, and a lot of that is down to chemical impulses and habits that get drilled into you through childhood and take a long time to fix.
