Hey, so Russians on /pol/ told me Russians in army only have to serve 6 months and then they are free and that they recruit 40k men a month not because they suffer 40k casualties a month but to replace those that left after their contract is over.
So one interesting thing, you never hear about anyone finishing contract alive, if there are news about veteran of SMO not on frontlines it’s either ex-Wagner(who are released after contract is over), cripple or still serving but on their 2-days a year vacation.
For example another guy who got a vacation and already butchered some random guy. So my question is, where are non-Wagner, non-crippled veterans that managed to leave military, do they even exist?

I remember reading a couple of years ago that Russia was refusing to end front-liners' contracts, forcing them to go into meatwave assaults until everyone was dead, because the Russian government didn't want them going home to tell people how bad it all was. This was based on electronic intercepts of phone calls from front-line units who were begging relatives to "do something" to get them home after their contracts were supposed to be long over but they weren't being allowed to leave.
