Russia is going to keep all territory they currently control plus Trump is going to throw in a few billion in resources off the coast of Alaska
In exchange, Putin is going to pinky promise not to grab any more land until the day Trump leaves office
It's not because he's a Russian asset or any of that other shit, he just genuinely can not negotiate with someone on equal or greater footing than he is.
His entire life has been shaking down people in weaker positions than he is. That in and of itself is a strategy, but it doesn't translate to success when you finally deal with someone who you can't just threaten until they relent.
