Is this book still pertinent and relatable to today, pol?

It was written in the 70s and takes place in the early 90s. Of course the author couldn’t foresee things such as AI and how badly the demographics of America would deteriorate, but I’m half way thru the book and so far most of his predictions are pretty close.

What do you think pol?

Pierce is a sperg. I can still recall the part where he described the sex scene involving the protagonist as “nature taking its course” while also dedicating great detail to how the shower heads and transistor radio inside the apartment complex work. I noticed that as well. It's funny because Pierce was far from an incel. The Dr. No film from the 90s shows that he was living with some very young and pretty women despite residing in a trailer. But he was also several times divorced, so he probably had some shitty personality issues.

The book is poorly written but the author predicted the BLM movement backed by the FBI and corporate kneeling.
Missed the mark on the post 911 surveillance state.
The ending is weird with the nuke everybody thing.

The Brigade, by Covington, is superior. Set in the 2010s during an IRA style uprising that begins in Cour D'Alain as a shootout with Child Protection Services and spirals into a full racewar. It's outright an Action/Adventure/Comedy. While the narrator is Covington's own voice with Covington's own opinions (The single most hate-filled and racist White Man born since Hadrian), he populates his book with relatable characters whose motives aren't even necessarily racial. This juxtaposition comes through delightfully as the author switches voices well between characters. Red in particular is long winded and poetic. ie "I think God gave the White race its courage one last time before he throws us in the dustbin of history" compared to the narrator's "The old IRA luck held, and he hit a nigger" vs. the heroic protagonist's "You see that girl over there? I've loved her since highshcool. All I want is a peaceful place for her."
The story is plausible, antagonists and protagonists are all portrayed as relatable people who don't have grand ideological designs in mind. Standout antagonists include the black police lieutenant in portland and the white FBI agent whom the protagonists assassinate at the beginning of the book. Kicky in particular is a great character because she's a coke addicted prostitute whose daughter is a hostage of the US and who's infiltraed the revolution, so she spends the story straddling the line between being a fed, a dumb whore, and a neo nazi until the climactic final chapter.

The Brigade is the third book in it's series. The books that come before it are dogshit.

I think it's fake news that these books can get you into trouble. I believe what'll get you into trouble are threats made online that are credible and being unhinged. It's why most of these threads seem to be made by foreign meme flags.

Remember how in 2016 there were hundreds of bomb threats phoned in from Israel and they finally convicted "some kid" of it? Yeah stuff like that but on 4chan.

"The Turner Diaries" is based on the false premise there's a sizeable minority of white revolutionaries who are extremely capable, resourceful and willing to die for their cause. The reality is that the self-styled white revolutionaries of our time represent garbage-tier human/spiritual capital. They're digital dopamine addicts who view everything as passive consumption of entertainment content. Everything they do is online (where nothing matters). And what really maters most to them is sustaining their drips of digital dopamine. It's absolutely unthinkable any of them would walk out of their rooms, seek one another out, organize in any meaningful way or take any profound risks to their lives and comfort.

If you've ever watched a video on youtube of lab test animals being released into a grass field for the first time (and being afraid to step out of their cages onto it), that's roughly a picture of how ready any of today;s white nationalists are to go full "Turner Diaries." Pierce predicted the development of a computerised ID system mandatory for all citizens that would alert the state if you went outside a certain zone.

Also he was right that there is no peaceful solution.
