I am thinking about how the culture of the mass man has come to pass in favor of something genuinely subhuman. Brainrot culture is infecting everything in this world. What are we to do in light of this? The best solution I have found is to tune out the stupidity of the world around me and build a comfortable, private life for myself.

people have largely good lives so they dont have a reason to rebel or rethink the system. once the system becomes evil it will be too late. only chuds social outcasts with horrible lives are likely to find out the truth.

Decadence is just luxurious over-indulgence. The two regulatory mechanisms against it are necessity (you literally or figuratively can't afford it) and morality (you choose not to because it's wrong). The former isn't effective when you're rich (which most people in the west are, even the "poor" subset of the population, in absolute terms), and the latter has degraded largely as a result of that (because morality as an adaptive survival mechanism declines in importance when your position is secure)
