American propaganda is all designed to keep you voting for right-wing politics. It primarily works through 4 parts:
>1) Distractions.
Its best for them to keep you from discussing politics as little as possible. If they can't keep you distracted altogether, then they will try to make you focus on the least important issues.
>2) Divisions.
The US supports fascism. However, they they not support only 1 type of fascism. They support a world in which many competing types of fascism are perpetually at war with eachother over race, gender and sexuality. They support white nazi fascism, AND black fascism of the sort found in BLM. They support woman fascism with radfem, gay fascism with radical LGBT. Jewish fascism in Israel, even as they support anti-jewish beliefs throughout the middle east and in Ukraine.
When you are fighting over these issues you are not focused on class. And therefore, you present no real threat to the rich, or to others in power.
>3) Scapegoating.
Anger over any political issue can be diffused by diverting the blame for it on to another target. "Jews" or "leftists" are the most common targets, though there can be others. In order to make you believe that a scapegoat is responsible, they must 1st make you believe that scapegoat has power. This is often achieved through invocation of conspiracy, which require no evidence and can be designed to be unfalsifiable, intentionally. Otherwise...
>4) Controlled opposition.
Through total control of the media, internet algorithms, astroturfing, and the buying and selling of politicians through campaign finance, an illusion of political opposition can be created. Once the illusion is created, strawmen are invoked which are intended to misrepresent the controlled side. Through these strawmen, you will eventually grow to hate the ideas being misrepresented. In America, this is the present state of the democrat party.
