That's an interesting answer. But there's no barrier to that infrastructure going up currently. If this was really such an attractive shipping route which would drastically reduce shipping costs and open up supply chains that are otherwise unfeasible, the infrastructure would already be flying up to support it. The corporations and businesses that would benefit from all this would absolutely demand it. And we would have already been at war with anybody who tried to impede the process. So something about this explanation doesn't add up. The fact all this hasn't happened seems to indicate this actually isn't such a desirable or lucrative shipping route.
