At least the Chinese can enjoy cheaper rent as a result of their massive over-investment in housing. What will Americans enjoy for the wasted hundreds of billions being poured into chips and data centres that won't ever make any money or serve any useful purpose except to a bit more rapidly unemploy some people who would have been unemployed by AI anyway with 1/10th the investment?
