Even the dive bars had guards outside to keep the riff raff in, and secret police inside to keep them in check. You ever heard of a homeless person in Mos Eisley? No way. Even Tash Station had none, they had to move out into the dunes with the Sand People and Womprats and hope to survive.

The universe was mostly a den of scum and villainy like on Tattooine and the Empire's goal was the clean it up, arrest/execute all the druggies/muggers/outlaws/etc.

Also riddle me this, NERDS. Why did Luke have a huge goo-dipping cylinder in his bedroom? This thing could dip a full humanoid-sized droid in goop and then slowly rise it back up as the goop dripped off. Why? Jawas had a goop chamber in their sand crawler, you can look it up in the plans for it which exist online. And they came around every one or two lunar cycles. They could do it cheap, they own the goop and chamber.

Maybe this is why Luke's aunt and uncle were failing in their business. They had invested in droid chambers and goop instead of vaperator coils.

Come on man they'd take anybody they could get. Remember Porkins? He was entrusted with a super expensive top of the line X-Wing fighter, it could go light speed unlike almost every other small craft in the galaxy. It had shields front and back which could be switched and combined even. And he went YAAAHHHHHH and blew up for NO REASON.

All this is plainly in the movies. It's based. Empire was ruined by Palpatine and Vader and their stupid power games and the Dark Side. It could have been an overall force for good.

Also like the Nazis, super weapons. Why did they need all the super weapons? And the Imperial Star Destroyer which was in essence a portable Death Star? All three just ended blowing up, with what? ONE kill of a planet between all three?

Why even blow the whole planet up with the absolute first, test shot of the Death Star? Why not blow up a moon in the system and then ask for one billion dollars? It makes no sense. They should have waited until it was finished and had shields up and everything, they just shot the cannon right at the enemy HQ first thing before they even built out up the tech tree to 'portable death star.'
