Russia tried to sell east prussia back in the 90s first to Lithuania then Poland and then Germany but all said no and did not wanted it.
Germany has a deal with poland that allows Germans to reclaim their houses/land for free if they can proof ownership of it from back then.
Today with the EU we're pretty much one single country already and if I wanted I could move to poland tomorrow and nothing could stop me from doing it.
So no Germans don't really care anymore except polish oppression against Silesians which has to stop.
Even back then it was out least industrialised areas and there's no resources at all and the nature is not special at all too.

I always lost control when i started drinking spirits too.
I now only drink beer, exclusively beer and its never boring, i got thousands of beers to try and wanting to try them all keeps me from drinking other stuff.
Beer also limits you alot because there is simply no space inside for that much. It would be impossible to drink the amount of alcohol in 3 bottles of vodka if you drank only beer, would be like 20 liters or something

The area was always mixed even when it was German land, with Germans, Poles, amd Lithuanians and inbetween people like Kashubians who are somewhere between Pole and German.
