in my opinion the biggest issue with it is that that kind of conquest was obsolete in a hard, concrete way
for starters, war isnt what it used to be, with advent of indistrialised warfare, as well as the principles of total war. war on the scale hitler suggests means total, wholesale destruction and loss of life on an unimaginable scale and simply was not sustainable
secondly, the diplomat realities of aggression in continental Europe. you cant take a shit in Europe without dragging in a network of alliances, then a subsequent wave of every other nation in the continent joining in the fighting to secure their interests. we saw this in world war one, and the situation was nothing new. just look at the 30 years war. you push one guy out a window and its war and allies join in, other powers pick sides for all manor of reasons, and suddenly the whole continent is on fire .
combine these two factors and what do you get? and entire powder-keg europe. the entire continent becomes a ticking time bomb and its only a matter of when, not if, it will blow up in your face, the explosion will be so utterly devastating that it will be existential in nature. the destruction will be biblical in proportions. it will redefine human tragedy.
and of course, that is exactly what happened
hitler basically acted like he was rome conquering barbarians with sword and spear, when he was actually fighting 20th century powers with wide diplomatic spheres of influence and geopolitical aims, and munitions to lay waste to the entire populations in the blink of an eye, and industrial capacities to pump out a steady stream of destruction.
