Anyone who tells you there is a cure for cancer is lying to you. By definition. There is no 'cancer', there is 'your particular cancer'.

Cells divide when they cannot detect their neighbors anymore. That's what wound healing is. Lots of things can cause an error where cells begin to divide when their neighbors are right next door. Normally the body sends a signal telling them to die and they do. When shit goes wrong enough, the cells can't hear it or can't obey it. That's cancer.

There is no cure for cancer. There are only treatments for cancer, some of which are more successful than others. Leukemia, for instance, has something like 70% success rate. Others like esophageal are a death sentence.
