we have the lowest cattle numbers in 70 years and over twice as many people. blame the government for demanding livestock be slaughtered because of the chink flu. same with chicken, pork, turkey, etc. M1 inflation is only a small part of those price differences you're seeing.

It's an open secret that NGOs have been trying to force us to stop eating meat, my conjecture is their last resort was to use COVID as an excuse to price us out of it, since cow farts ending the world didn't fly.
