The reason fast food prices are skyrocketing is because human trafficking is slowing down and they cant dispose of as as many bodies in the food supply as before
when covid hit, they raised the prices 5x faster than inflation was hitting because Doordash boomed and all these restaurants had a huge surge in online orders.

there's a local Mexican Resturant (I a minor local chain of 3 restaurants in a county area) that sells a Steak Burrito covered in Queso with beans and rice for 7.99, even ordering to go gets you chips and salsa
this is far superior to anything from Fastfood and takes about the same amount of time to get, and is way cheaper than a Quarterpounder meal from Mcdonalds now.
