There were 3 major points of suspicion on Vance
1. That he married a poojeeta.

2. That he converted to Roman Catholicism

Yet it would seem Vance converted for connections or something he doesn't want to actually serve Rome. He was basically the last official meeting with Jesuit Pope Francis who died and he told him in response to wanting an infinitinigger invasion to go fuck himself.
3. That he was a Nevertrumper
And now he isn't, and he is on the right side of all the factional disputes in the administration.

An unstated thing about this is that millennials were actually able to assimilate the kids of early Indian immigrants pretty well. Obviously it's a much different situation now, but back then there were only small numbers of them and they were of a much higher caliber than what we're seeing as of late. Also, had a few friends and acquaintances who ended up pulling indian girls who were actually attractive and would have been way out of their leagues under other circumstances.
