Why are they so weak and boring? You don't see people like Alexander the great, napoleon, caesar anymore. You don't see greatness. It's like everyone became dull and boring. Where are the conquerors?

Modernity has a pacifying effect. As much as people praise leaders like Washington and Teddy Roosevelt as great men (which they were) the truth is that their leadership skills were a resultant product of their time and circumstances. Without such a channel these types of personalities tend to drift into anti-social and even counterproductive endeavors. They likely would have been chudcels if they were born around this time period. I'm pretty sure they were both psychopaths

Because we live in an age of machines and artifice where the system has become so massive and all encompassing there is no real humanity left for leaders like that
