Is the serbian line of thought to any extent in line with reality? Like all the martyrdom and resentment of neighbours (all other Europeans)?

Let me just hammer the point for all the foreign white anons that in Serbia people dont actually read books, this is important because books are one of the earliest instruments which serve for spreading and advancing idea and thoughts that shape the world we live in. From what i understand, Orthodoxy among Serbs is taken to an extreme which i havent seen in Bulgarians, Romanians, Russians and Greeks, in an extreme that whatever Serbs do its always about how they have exchanged earthly kingdom of the heavenly kingdom. This is whether they like it or not used as an excuse to not read, educate, adapt, evolve yourself.

Germanic, Latin, West/East Slavs, Chinese, Japanese, all the great races have consistently adapted to and evolved through their history and built things that influenced the world. Even Greeks have left a mark on this planet while Serbs didnt do anything and always have an excuse as to why the didnt.

When i say things like this i am called a traitor, leftist, a illiterate peasant (bit ironic) and all sorts of word just because i devoted bit of my free time to think of the position of Serbs in this world. You get bashed on for observing critical points about Serbia people.

It is like growth as a concept here is forbidden. Why would you want to be stuck doing witchcraft like Africans (to put it harshly like this)?

I have consistently heard from my countrymen how they rejoice about Britain`s current failure and they say how they deserve it. As i am talking to straight up Indians who were under British rule i have no other way to put it.

They rejoice about Germans being colonised by Arabs. They praise Scandinavian "socialist" democracy and say how we must implement it here, but doing something original for yourself is forbidden as i said concept of growth and nurturing culture is seen as boring endeavor here, it is a worthless task until each Serb has unfathomable amounts of money to spend in earthly kingdom which he supposedly gave up.

Am i being crazy or am i supposed to be convinced there is logic here?

This is not a Serbia-only issue and this is more of a christcuck issue in general. Similar views existed in Bulgaria throughout the Ottoman occupation, where people renounced the unfortunate reality in favor of heavenly escapism and other-worldism. You may know of the Bogomils, a christcuck sect that arose in Bulgaria and spread in Europe and later copied itself into the Cathars. The central theme of that sect was the renunciation of reality and the dedication of one's life towards a maximum spiritual grindset. It should not surprise you that these people were total gigaNEET losers who were crushed with ease. The core christcuck religion is just like that but to a lesser extent.

So to your question as to why the protestants decided to live in material reality, or how the Japanese invented so much, or how the Chinese turned their mudhuts into the LED skyscrapers - the christcuck slider for all of these was gradually pushed to the 0 side, some more than others. Orthodoxy on the other hand excels at pushing it near the 100 value, where the Sermon on the Mount becomes the primary morality of the nation. Which is also one of the reasons why we're all poor, from Serbia to Russia.

There is barely 10 million Serbs in the world and for each one that is ready to joke about these topics we are closer to our complete demise. I somewhat agree and disagree with you. Although im not a fully practicing Christian i do believe in God and know that Christianity is core part of our culture, but get this. Every single religion, philosophy, ideology has changed over time, why do you think councils, meetings, congresses happened in history it is because men of each historical period wanted to settle on many questions and issues, bring in their interpretation of thing, of course it was also used to impose power and influence, but that is also part of the process. Orthodoxy didnt come to be without this despite the some foundational points.

I look at Mount Athos as Tibetan Buddhists, where men go to achieve peace in their own different ways. Orthodox monks do it through and with God and his love, while Buddhist monks of Tibet do it in a way of fulfilling mindfulness and reaching some kind of balance, some do it by completely separating from the world (Nirvana).

Bogomilism was about rejecting temporal authority (i.e. feudal lords, priests, etc...) because the God they claim to serve is supposedly evil. It wasn't about "escapism" so much as sabotaging one's rulers because of their illegitimacy. That's part of why the Ottomans had such an easy go at the Balkans, much of the population simply refused to pay taxes or take up arms for their lords in the face of invading Turks. If I had to compare the Bogomils and other medieval Gnostics to a modern phenomenon, it would be the no pussy no work/anti-draft guys, especially the sort that roots for the enemy of their government (Russia/China if they're American).
