Unironically, the Orthodox Church of America is an untapped resource for Russia.
Despite being “Russian orthodox” that just describes it’s liturgy and not any actual connection to the Russian Church (not since the sale of Alaska and Soviet Revolution)

However with Putin trying to sure up the legitimacy of the Russian Patriarchy it’s a good chance to bring American Orthodox back into the fold, especially considering how they have had insane growth recently.

Idk what to think considering the patriarch is clearly influenced or intimidated by the government or puting
