The black line is the extent of the territory Russia says is rightfully theirs. How will the war end? I think
>Russia gets all of Luhansk, WHAT THEY HAVE in Zaporizhia and Kherson, and Crimea
>Russia will trade all territory it owns in Ukraine outside of the 4 oblasts for the rest of Donetsk
>Ukraine gets EU membership, help rebuilding, security guarantees, but NO NATO
>Russia gets sanctions relief, allowed to rejoin international institutions, and a trade deal from the US
>a peace keeping force will patrol the DMZ (should be a non-NATO western force)
I don't think a ceasefire will happen, but an armistice will happen followed by a step by step deescalation. Why would Russia agree? So they can get most of what they wanted without more death. Why would Ukraine agree? So they don't lose more men and infrastructure and because they are told to.
