Also why did Palpatine waste all that money on TWO Death Stars and the Super Star Destroyer (which is like a faster portable Death Star)? I mean think of the sheer expense of it all. And between the three of them they only managed to destroy one fucking planet, Space San Francisco, Princess Leia's planet of Alderaan. Not even a useful military target it turns out.

I agree they're kino. But seriously, why build a second one when the Super Star Destroyer is the same thing but it can go light speed? Death Star apparently has propulsion but it seems to be slower than a proper starship.
