Laws and ways of doing things here are different. Trucks always make U-turns without causing accidents. I've seen many times where every vehicle stops and allows the trucks to pass.

That truck driver also made his u-turn suddenly and unexpected, from the freaking RIGHT lane, not the left lane, while suv was in the left lane and took close when the truck driver began his u-turn, this is the biggest reason the accident occurred. Truck driver made a left u-turn from the right lane across both lanes and ended up having an accident with the driver in the left lane who was already too close for the driver to make that maneuver but was also not expecting the truck driver to do a sudden u-turn and didn't know to brake HARD because of the extended time it takes for not only the trailer to complete the turn and get off the drive path but also to do this from the right freaking lane which takes even more time.

Truck driver was retarded. Should have waited until the area was empty or kept driving forward and found another route back. Unbelievable he tried that turn with that car right there.

its annoying when you miss your exit or road etc, but its always better to just find a way to turn around or circle back around. you cant pull dumb stunts like that guy. the only time ive ever done a u turn was out in Montana. was heading up hill when the engine spat out loads of coolant half way up the north bound interstate out of Butte. totally quiet though and on a long straight section. engine would probably have had major issues if id tried to push on to a better place to turn.
