When I said car payments I was more so referring to inevitable repairs + auto insurance + seasonal tires. But you are inadvertently forced to be upcharged over here, people forgot but in 2009-2010 there was a major push for people to trade in their 10+ year old cars for upfront amounts of cash. it was tabled as an economic thing thatd be good but what it did was destroy millions of perfectly good cars, so theres a genuine scarcity of used vehicles here that arent on the verge of death. you have to be lucky to know somebody who has a car theyre looking to hand down

Yeah you might have everything within walking distance, but the bleak and lifeless views of other commieblocks stacked next to each other and then you look at the empty space where they are building more of them but just the "modern" version. The people in them suck, it's 50% old boomers and 45% young parents with annoying kids.
I just fucking hate commieblocks so much it's unreal.

Last time i was in Szombathely centre, there was a stand filled with books, where you could put your old books in, or take some with you (obviously the sign asked you to not take more than what you brought).
