While many claim I was affected in a multitude of negative ways, I want to explain how I feel I was affected the most.

My mum asked my dad to leave when I was 5 to build a family with my step dad and I became severely depressed for probably half a year (didn't eat anymore, couldn't go to school anymore) until she allowed him back into my / our life.
