Any sense of community we once had is gone. Everyone only cares about themselves now. This was done intentionally. When my parents bought their house the previous owners sold it to them cheap and told them it was because they were white and they didn't want any blacks in the neighborhood. They saw a young white couple and gave them a good deal. That doesn't happen anymore, everyone is out for themselves to get as much as they can and fuck everyone else. Everyone views everyone else as the enemy today, no one cares about building a community. Two people bought houses on my block recently and the first thing they did was put up giant fences around their yard and made themselves an isolated compound.
