If you google for Christian heavy cities or areas inside cities and you then rush to google maps you'll notice there's no garbage around and it looks cleaner overall, in cities it even looks somewhat developed.

I am not Christian but i can give you insight..Where i live there are roughly 15-18 Christian families. I didn't know they are Christian until I was 18 y/o. Some of them have cross at the door, I thought that's cool thing to hang(because Christianity is cool :). Their surname are not different and they attend hindu festival. Nobody is religious. They are just cool people. one of my very good friend is Christian but he doesn't believe in good. His dad is priest. I guess i live in extremely secular area.

Also, My mom went to Christian school, 8-12th grade. In her time school time she attended church every Sunday and she has many Christian friend.
Most of the Christian here are converted because of economic help.

(stuff like "O'er moor and fen, o'er crag and torrent") And we had these "moral science" classes during elementary and middle school where there were some chapters that valorized religiosity. Check the conversion rates for Hinduism to Christianity and vice versa.
In fact check any conversion rate to any religion. Hinduism's low rank is consistent with what I've said.
On the flip side, if people didn't find anything wrong with all the exclusionary and redundant things inside Hinduism, then the conversion rates into Hinduism would be much higher simply because of societal pressure.

I think one thing to keep in my with Indian Christianity is that many will take Christ as their ishta and, despite reading the Bible to practice Christianity, are practicing it in a Hindu way. The best example is Swami Yogananda, if you read any of his books he sounds like a new ager, explicitly proposing that Jesus went to India and learned yoga, which no scholar takes seriously at all. Christianity slots into the broad umbrella of Hinduism very nicely, but not the other way around. There are plenty of Indian Christians that drop all Hindu influence and just practice western Christianity, and there are many that take up a Hinduized Christianity as well. If you find any Swamis and Gurus on youtube who have their talks recorded by their followers, they'll inevitably have talks about Christ as well and preach him no differently from how they preach Hindu saints and avatara. The matter is a lot muddier than Indians simply practicing or converting to Christianity.
