>the memory of a goldfish
Their memory is working. Let me explain to you what happened to the average NPC during covid:
>initial reaction, it's no big deal
Because the news was only starting to cover it and none of their social circle was concerned
>then they start to get worried, some even panic
Not because the information had changed, but the constant broadcasting about covid and as their social circle started to talk about it more and more, then it *became* a concern
>they were happily willing to give up more freedom for the feeling of safety
They don't care about the rights of others, only that they *felt* safe. And some turned into the "fascists" they claimed to hate just to get some relief from getting themselves worked up.
>initial reaction was not to get the vaccine
Again, because propaganda was just starting to be rolled out and they knew nobody who got it
>then they needed to get it, and you did too
Because after enough plucking of the heartstrings (dying man appears on TV to announce he regrets not getting the life saving vaccine, young girl says she got it to protect her grandmother, etc). Once enough normies got it, they all start to want to get it because those in their social circle were doing it. Like lemmings following each other.
>finally: covid wasn't such a big deal actually
Because the last bit of propaganda was to talk about how it was time to "move on" from it, and how people deserve a pass, even the most zealous people (who called for people to be put in camps and other insanity) because they just meant well. This was churned out to the point where the average normie now accepts this as the correct way to react to anyone bringing up the covid insanity.
To understand the normie Anon, you must understand they can never ask themselves objectively if something is true, but whether it is safe to believe it's true. And they use their peer group, "authority figures" and mass media to decide that. It all comes down to group consensus.
