I was able to recover without meds but to do that you have to be mad rational.
Like you have to be able to see or hear something insane and go "Ok, nice try inner demons" and shut them down.
It's not for everyone but with practice you can do it.
I recommend you learn to control your inner monologue, really helps in moments of panic if you can just shut thoughts and feelings off and be calm.

I'll just add that being physical has done great things for my symptoms as well as the general malaise and depression chronic conditions can cause.
Most of the medications will also cause weight gain, so countering that will help offset this as well.

My labor job suggestion was also made in the sense of having a job where you aren't working a service position. Hard work to wear out the body while being low stress to ease the mind.

I struggled for years and years working hospitality and other service jobs and switching to working at a recycling plant was a shock but ended up being amazing for managing my symptoms.
If they can land an indoor job that isn't high stress and doesn't deal with the public, that could be a great fit too. I just feel like having physical activity built in with your job helps a ton because if you're ''off'' and struggling to make it through your workday without ruining your life, its very hard to be motivated for exercise afterwards.

Just take tons of nootropics, work out, do multiple forms of meditation, and don't take the thoughts in your mind seriously (meditation will help with this), and will yourself to feel joy in everything you do, and don't take the paranoia and fear and other negative emotions seriously. Also as long as you can breath you can control emotions through breath. Make it a constant duty to will power your way through this. I've had lots of hallucinations and it sucks at the pool or public places or when I get robbed while vulnerable etc. but the nootropics and working out and everything really helps.
