oh, you canโ€™t just *do* that. thereโ€™s zoning laws, NIMBYism, construction costs, land values, supply chain issues, interest rates, speculation, and a whole host of other issues that contribute to it.

The issue here in Germany is that the state (in the form of the administrations of cities and towns) just does not allow to build on most of the land. It's a fucking catastrophy. These people invite 2 millions illegals to stay, get fed and housed on our money, and don't allow us to build new houses.
