They do. Last time I went to mcdonalds there was a bunch of teens and older people all sitting down and talking and laughing. Even kids were in the play place. It just happens at specific hours of the day at specific places.

If you live in a more risky place in the US you'd rather do drive-thru than go inside because you don't want to get shot. But in a more safe neighborhood it's almost promoted to go in and see everyone.

I've noticed two things about it:

1. It doesn't fill you up at all. Burger says 650 calories, ok that's quite a lot. 3 burgers later I'm still hungry.

2. You get cravings to eat the same shit again the next day
