DNC is already broke, has been since 2016 actually. Hillary burned through all the money and they still have thousands of creditors from that time seeking payment.
In the mean while PACs have become essential to the Democrats. USAID too - various charities get tax money and donate to the Democrat PACs. This is gone now, it's easily tens of billions.
When they quick switched in Kamala, they had ZERO in the bank but apparently they only 'report' on a certain day so the donors had to flood in a bunch of money to the DNC which had to spend it as soon as it came in so there would be zero in the account come the end of the month, or whatever the reporting period is. They blew through over $20 billion on Kamala that way. That was USAID PAC money, with SOME contributed by Democrat billionaires and little from individuals.
TL;DR? DNC is broke and now has no grifting scheme to make up for it neither lol.
