Race of very pale (I'm talking way paler than albino, their skin is essentially translucent) blue eyes people living under ground. They get a year round 60 degrees and have developed a way to dehumidify an otherwise very humid cave system using the ice layers above so the climate is tolerable. This climate is also coincidentally the perfect climate for animals and it negates natural aging factors and metal corrosion. They have also developed a way to sing that makes people fall asleep nearly instantly and they will try to soothe you to sleep and sort of hypnotize you into joining their society.
