Ukraine should take the deal
It's obvious that once Russia takes Pokrovsk that they can move up the left side of the Donetsk oblast's border, and because they control the right side of the oblast's border move along its edge to encircle the rest of it. Russia would take all of Donetsk, no idea how much time it'd take but eventually they'd get it.
It's up to Ukraine. Would they rather save lives and make a peace deal to avoid more death, or arrive at the same end but with many more dead and more destroyed?
It's nafover, the war is over.

Russia won't take a deal either, they're going for as many gains as possible.
This encirclement is the beginning of the end. Taking this has opened a huge gap in the Ukrainian line.

Russia is the one proposing this. They would trade all the land in Ukraine they control outside of the 4 oblasts for the rest of Donetsk oblast.

make a thread about it then. Because I remember like two weeks ago, the Russians were in the middle of pokrovsk, and it was just about to fall, according to russia shills.. And guess what? They were promptly obliterated. And then there's the recent breakthrough.

It doesn't matter because any territorial gains by Russia will be a 'win' and the EU has said Russia Must Not Win. That's why you see such absurd things as a DMZ patrolled by Britain and Albania and etc, the concept of Russia balkanizing, etc. A 'hundred year lease' and so on. They haven't come to terms with losing because their core principle is that they need to win.

They have nothing, Trump hates zelinsky and loves Putin. Russia makes gains every day. Ukraine is using 45 year olds and disabled people on the front line. ukraine should just give up before they go extinct.

If they ever get that far they'll be coming down from Belarus as well. Apparently there's a massive Russian troop buildup across the entire northern border constantly probing Ukie defensive lines as if they're just toying around and biding time waiting for someone in charge to fire the green flare.

The vatniks had Pokrvosk in a cauldron in 2015? And it’s held through three years of large scale warfare?!? Wow, may we see it???

>>513250042
Hmmm? Ukraine had to pull their groupings set to attack into Russian to stop the collapse of the line at pokrovsk. They even pulled on POLICE units. When the praetorian guard and enforcement units get themselves conscripted it’s the end stage of the regime as those assets are absolutely critical to maintain control of the country. The KMT learned this the hard way in WWII.

Ukraine CAN win but they need to appeal to the rest of western world about it
The issue is that isolationism is on the rise the world over, people are tried of being told to care about wars a sea away from them when they can barely afford rent, groceries, and a life with major outcry about spending money to aid other countries when so many are struggling in their own nations
That and Israel is taking the lime light from Ukraine's pity party, Palestine is getting attention from the left as the new "we need to help other nations weh weh weh" BS and the Kike lovers are focused "greatest ally"
Ukraine either needs a major win to regain attention or they need to face the facts they are facing a protracted defeat simply due to Russia being able to outlast them
Id put up resistance to the deal and see if Putin will budge this war hasnt done him any favors with his own people so if he needs a win seeing how low you can get the cost of peace down to is Z's best bet

I think something like the Austrian model is going to be enforced on what's left of the Ukraine. Serious academics have already pointed to it as a historical precedent:
https://nationalinterest.org/feature/austrian-neutrality-model-ukraine-10005
It's pretty much the only serious, long-term solution that actually addresses the reasons for the war that I've seen coming out of the west, and the Russians would likely accept it (subject to the particulars) since it actually addresses their security concerns. The Brussels-aligned Europeans will hate it but the current governments will not be around forever and they'll have to play nice if they want a seat at the table.
>>513248862
I don't agree that the Russians will try to take the whole country, they won't want to venture too far west of the Dniepr, that's Bandera territory and ethnic Russians are in the minority there, it would be more trouble than it's worth.
