Why was there a distinct difference between the 60's, 70's 80's, 90's, and 00's, but everything after has no flavor? It's all the same. 2010-2025, there's no "oh yeah that's a style from 2010-2020." It doesn't exist. What the fuck happened?

early 2010's were still the emo/scene era, late 2010's was '80's revival, and now in the '90's revival era

Also this. Before the emo/scene era you had nu-metal. Remember bands like Limp Bizkit? There's also no unified culture, it's hard to have any cultural trends if you don't have a unified culture.

I think the 20th century is actually the outlier in how many distinct periods it has, because technology and culture was accelerating at such a rapid pace during that century which was really unprecedented. I bet if you looked further back throughout history, not as many individual decades would be so distinct and there would be longer periods of homogenous culture like we have now, probably even a lot more so than today.

>I'm 20 and have figured out all there is to know about life!
>I don't know why these older people seem so angry and stupid!
>For sure they are just dumb and old, tee hee hee, not aware of things through life experiences collected over the course of brutal decades slaving away that I just haven't discovered yet

Sometimes I wish 00s stayed a lil bit longer, with the first iphones getting invented in late 10s
Simple usable tech with nice interface and no options for the privacy crazed individuals asking for verification and identity.
But in the same time I wish these AI s of ours to have been invented in the 00s

It s true it s all shit after 2015. Same boring flat design for websites and programs same retarded idiotic songs with a retarded hiphop beat and tempo. It feels like nothing changed from 2016.
Same lgbt propaganda from that time.
2012-2013 are still closer to 00s than 2016 or 2015 is if you ask me

2016 is like the begining of globohomo with the ecofascist faggots being a vocal minority from 2010, le save the planet meme. And the climate change meme from 90s

Not to mention everyone stopped coding in .asp .php et al . All those so called programmers are coding in shitty languages like nodejs which is like cheap coding. Or overuse python and make cheap games with unity and blender this is a trend i observed the most since the dawn of mobiles or after 2013.
The niggers dont use c4d or 3ds anymore or lightwave while those had better results for the sprites.
It s as if nobody cares about quality anymore, only shitty cheap money for cheap products. Same goes for ai slop. Complete enshittification of media

that's true. we've been bitching about immigration on /pol/ for awhile now, but it really exploded since 2020. the amount of jeets that showed up in Canada over the last few years is insane. I think there are still distinct cultural periods, they're just a little subtler and a little more fragmented because of the internet dividing people. and they also don't follow the decades precisely, but when we look back on the 20th century it's easier to fit things into little boxes in retrospect. but even then it was more nuanced than that. if you watch early Seinfeld for example it's very different to late Seinfeld and feels more like an extension of what we consider the 80s. and what we consider 90s culture bled into the 2000s a little. our pattern seeking brains want everything to conform nicely to the systems of time we have invented, but it's rarely that neat and tidy.
Anonymous (ID: Z+06jWr0) Romania No.513261240
Nothing is of quality anymore. Even the songs which are popular now and sound a little bit human is because they ripped off older songs from 00s or 90s.
Every service is shit now prices too. Made me stop playing any recent game or watch any new movie.
I think others can relate to this

Yes they brought them in our countries to keep the wages low probably. It s all part of the globohomo plan they created in 2010. Not even the EU was this retarded in 90s or 00s. It wasnt this communistic as it is now. I had a completely different view of it back then. Now I wouldnt mind for my country to abandon it.

I already am. But who cares, it had to be done en masse for a clean up of the current shitty media. By other artists, content producers. They should follow suit.

I remember reading an article claiming this was due to the Internet breaking the monopoly the corporate media had on setting cultural trends.
