There's no real reason for you to have a political opinion if you don't care about the future, so then why do so many leftists and alt-righters exist?
For me, my motivation for having a stance is the fact that I want to have a family and I want them to have a bright future, as well as be able to make that happen. If I iddn't have that then I'd probably not have a political opinion, I simply do not have a motivator for white knighting for anyone else, especially the laughably stupid first world morons that make up the voter base.
Leftists today seem so utterly culturally suicidal they are willingly rooting for their countries becoming non-white ghetto shitholes, and far right wing people unironically want to turn every country in a South America tier banana republic shithole.

I don't know why an increasing amount young people are taking up radical positions online. I mean, I don't particularly care about minorities or non-whites but I'd like my hypothetical son or daughter to not have to grow up in a market where housing is incredibly expensive. I wouldn't want them to grow up in an environment with rape, drugs, etc.
But it seems like everyone has an opinion nowadays, and it's only because they want to flex how "progressive" or contrarian they are online.

When did normal people or "moderates" start to die out? It's like the great replacement already happened, but instead we were replaced with retarded people of all races. Was it the phones?

I already have a family, so, yeah, I'd rather the future not be shit.

Great, but that doesn't explain why redditors love Islam and illegal immigrants, neither does it explain why rightoids hate free school meals so much

People have been under attack, they feel threatened, this leads to anger, which leads to conflict. Both sides are looking for a gotcha but nobody is willing to have a discussion. They quickly turn into insults which leads to bickering.
And then people are divided on so many things, they often might not be wrong to be so divided when you're in the presence of your enemies, hostility can break out at any moment. These are hills not worth dying on, but, it's disturbing when people aren't just losing their relationships and becoming isolated over them. People are genuinely dying over strong opinions. But, how about spiritual death. Day in and day out somebody's posting the most awful things they can conceive it can't be good for the soul, right?
The question is how do we see past these differences, and, for practical reasons, reckon them out without making your opponent feel targeted?
The goal shouldn't be conversion, just negotiation, to better understand.
