real talk, what the fuck is wrong with the middle class? I used to be someone who bemoaned the erosion of the middle class but the more I interact with them the more I realize they have something genuinely fucking wrong with them that is utterly alien to my sensibilities and that it isn't something I'm willing to risk myself advocating for

Maybe in decades past it was different and there was a real american zeitgeist to be found there but in the modern upper middle class I don't really see anything worth defending.

There's a neurotic, petty, control oriented vindictive pettyness and obliviousness at the expense of others that I find revolting. The complete lack of common sense and haughty spitefulness makes me wonder why people who have everything seem so miserable and nigger brained

Plus they're all pajeeted and chang'd out the ass these days anyway. The feckless gormless males and the busy body spinsters are the worst too

I've spent most of my life around upper middle class guys and most of them were pretty chill. What bothers is guys who confuse being charismatic with sadism or bragging about themselves endlessly. These things are maybe fine in small doses but when its seemingly all somebody is capable of doing it gets grating fast. I've met many poor people like this as well so its probably more of an unchecked narcissism problem rather than class. Ime most americunts are so amoral and insecure they're willing to tolerate abuse or unscrupulous characters if it means they wont be socially ostracized or be held accountable for their own trash behavior

I grew up a ward of the state around ferals but found success because of my intelligence (Not bragging I feel quite stupid) and as an outsider all I can see is the ugliness in all groups with the most noble traits in the working class, lower middle and upper class
