30% of the power it generates is used to burn the garbage itself and 70% of the energy contained in the garbage is exported as heat/power.
100k tons of waste should give around 550GWh split between electricity and heat (for residential or industrial use).

Emissions from the chimney are low. The remaining emissions may also chemically break down. Could probably capture what does come out in some giant filter that compresses into neat blocks.

A container or multiple containers with pre-sorted waste > transport > waste incineration > energy and recycled material.

The whole world could collect all their waste send it to Australia where it's burned in the middle of nowhere while the remaining factors are compressed into near piles like nuclear waste.

That said, a lot of plastic cant be recycled into PCR, based on what its been contaminated with before reaching its destination, which is what the intended purpose of recycling bins is all about. To reduce the amount of contaminants that end up mixed in.
And yet, even so: vast amounts of recycled bottles end up getting acrapped anyways juat because of how particular injection molding and blow molding processes are.

For example, when we run product that is made up of 100% PCR, the end result is bottles that have this nasty yellow piss tint to them. So we mix in a dye with the plastic during melt to offset it and make a "clear" bottle.

Local governments mark it as being recycled, but ultimately when it leaves their processing centers it's anyone's guess what actually happens to it. Your local government does this because it's simply too expensive to actually recycle it (if it can be recycled at all, thermosetting plastics can not be recycled.) And national governments don't care, because despite it being objectively worse to ship it abroad, it looks good on paper as it shows progress towards various "green" goals. The system is a sham anon, don't believe the hype.
