Anons why we don't have hummingbirds in Europe but instead we have this moths?

How hard would it be to introduce real hummingbirds from America to Europe?

I love hummingbirds so much. Some guy tried to smuggle them to the UK(?) like 20 years back, he put them in his underwear with little holes for the beaks and tried to get on a flight: poor things. I guess they just really don't want to introduce them over there, they'll pollinate your flowers too well... They're so cool though, had one floating right next to my hand twice that I used to go outside and whistle back at it's chirping. It's fun to watch them chase each other in the air, easily one of the neatest creatures this side of the Atlantic. That is honestly a really neat moth though

you don't want them anyway, they eat mosquitoes which are one of the few natural predators of Africans

We have them in the U.S. too. AFAIK "hummingbird moths" are all over the world (except Antarctica of course).

hummingbirds are a symbol of holocaust denial and therefore would not be legal in europe.

I have this hummingbird that hangs out with my flowers and it's so cool. When the sunset hits his wings just right it lights up with this crazy golden hue.

Rare that /pol/ agrees on anything, ever. Glad to see everyone acknowledge one of the most based creatures to ever exist.

Let's make a deal. We get hedgehogs, you get hummingbirds

Gotta be careful with feeding them. They get insanely territorial and will impale other hummers with their beaks. Average one kill a week when they're migrating through my Houston suburb.
