The role of any just Christian government is first and foremost to defend public morals against the onslaught of vice. Pornography and homosexuality are too dark and too powerful vices to be left to individual families to defend against. The state needs to intervene to get these problems under control. Without such measures, the monstrous appetites these vices feed will grow into a force that will destroy our humanity.
